Looking for a step-by-step process to connect your Toshiba countertop microwave to Alexa? This post is your go-to resource.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on buying a smart microwave oven. It will take your cooking hobbies to the next level.

Toshiba ML-EM34P(SS) smart microwave has a built-in WiFi feature that connects with your home network and lets you control everything remotely.

In this guide, we’ll focus on how to connect a Toshiba microwave to Alexa. But, before that, you have to connect your microwave to Wi-Fi.

So, I’ll divide this guide into two parts- the process of connecting your microwave with a Wi-Fi network and then integrating it with an Alexa device.

How To Connect Toshiba Microwave To Wi-Fi

If you’ve already connected your microwave to the Wi-Fi network via the SmartHome app, you can skip this and jump into the setup process with Alexa.

Here is how to connect a newly bought Toshiba smart microwave to the Wi-Fi network and control every task on your smartphone.

1. Download “SmartHome” App

I don’t know which smartphone you have. If you have an iPhone, install the SmartHome app from the App Store, and if you have an Android phone, install the SmartHome app from the Google Play Store.

SmartHome App

Note: The SmartHome app was formerly known as MSmartHome. So, don’t confuse it with a name. I have provided the download link below.

2. Create a SmartHome Account

If you already have a SmartHome account, choose “Login“; if you don’t, choose “Create Account“.

SmartHome Account Creation

Once you tap the Create Account button, you’ll be asked to enter your email address or phone number. I advise you to sign up using your email address.

Enter your email address, tick the user agreement option, and tap on Send verification code. A six-digit verification code will be sent to your email address; enter that code to set up an account password.

3. Allow Access To Local Network

Now, the SmartHome app will ask for permission to access your local network to connect with Wi-Fi. Tap on Allow to proceed ahead.
